Back again

Back again after four months; trips to Devon, Lancaster, Windermere, Cromer and most recently, Spurn Point - wait till you see the photos.
And at the same time I kept up with a daily listing challenge on folksy - for a flavour of that visit https://www.pinterest.com/mattspop/folksy-april-diamonds/ 780 pins featuring the the wide panoply of activity that is British crafting, a record of each participants listings through the month of April.
I've even taken up a new craft - I've tried pottery painting thanks to my grandaughter Izzy and www.hippopotamess.co.uk -

the cupcake is Izzy's. We had a lot of fun, thanks.

The first Craft Fair of the season looms Goathland Village Hall, 3rd to 5th May. If ou're in the area give us a look over.

The lost month

I see it's a month since I last posted to this blog - where does the time go. Not that it's a New Year's Resolution or anything like that, but I shall try to improve on that performance in 2015.

Craft-wise it's not been a bad month: two days with Phoenix at Temple Newsam brought the craft fair season to a satisfactory end; Creative Connections CRAFTfest ended at the same weekend; some sales on Folksy over the month were a welcome bonus. Now I've embarked on a January listing challenge on Folksy, listing an item a day through January; keeping up so far.

Christmas week I took part in what is called either the 'monochrome adventure' or the 'monochrome challenge' depending who you are. it involved uploading five monochrome pictures to Facebook, one a day and with each upload challenging someone else to do the same. By way of a change from enamels related pictures here are my five uploads.
